President's Message

Greetings IREM® Chapter 5 Members,

The fall season is now here and what a great season for the IREM® Chapter 5 Accredited Residential Managers (ARM®) Fashion Show. This year marked the fourth year for the ARM Fashion Show with a portion of the proceeds going to HAVEN. HAVEN is a nonprofit organization that seeks to eliminate domestic violence and sexual assault across Oakland County and the surrounding communities by empowering survivors through advocacy and social change.

HAVEN has helped domestic violence and sexual assault victims and their families escape abuse and create safer lives for 42 years. It is definitely an organization making a difference in the lives of many. Our generous sponsors for the ARM Fashion Show included the following:

for their hard work for making each Fashion Show a greater success.

Based on a survey conducted last year members felt that we should do more to give back to the community. Becoming involved in philanthropy by supporting local and global charities is needed now more than ever. This request has resulted in the Certified Property Managers (CPM®) forming a committee chaired by Paul Bollinger and co-chair Michelle Watkins.

I am so proud of the IREM Chapter 5 members and our Industry Partners that we continue to work to achieve excellence in property management while setting aside time to assist others in need. We can't change the world but we can make a difference by showing love and compassion to others.

Please remember those facing the devastation of the hurricanes in your prayers and join the members of IREM Chapter 5 in continuing to make a difference in the lives of others. It have been a pleasure serving as your IREM Chapter 5 President and thank you to the Chapter staff: Susan Knowles, Executive Director and Victoria Pollard, Association Executive, for assisting with all of our events and making sure they run smoothly and are a success!

God bless,

Sabrina Gaddy-Bollinger
