ARM Committee

Promote the ARM® designation in the industry and throughout the community through educational programs and community involvement.

CPM Committee

The CPM committee plans an annual community outreach event for the members and to promote the designation to non-members in the real estate industry.

Education Committee

Helps plan and coordinate non-designation educational offerings, courses and seminars. Assists in the promotion of designation classes to members & potential members.

Income / Expense Analysis Committee

Promotes and coordinates the annual data gathering process for input into IREM’s Income & Expense Analyses publications.

Industry Organization Liaison

The industry organization liaison committee looks at other organizations in the real estate industry to see how we can partner on certain meetings and events as a value to our members.

Industry Partners Committee

The committee seeks out sponsorship from vendors serving the real estate industry. The committee is to plan a kick-off meeting every year and to plan an industry partner event each year.

IYP Committee

Is dedicated to promoting growth for Young Professionals, IREM and the Asset and Property Management field by providing Educational & Social Networking Mixers in a casual, progressive and fun environment. 

Everyone is encouraged to participate.

Legislative Committee

The committee monitors, reviews and informs members of proposed or pending legislation or regulation which may affect real estate owners or managers. The chairperson organizes and sets up meetings with Michigan’s representatives for local outreach. Utilize social media with current legislative related issues on the chapter’s Facebook page.

Membership Committee

The membership committee seeks out qualified candidates for membership and designations. The committee also works on student outreach and candidate guidance.

Programming Committee

The programming committee provides the speakers for the chapter’s membership breakfast/networking meetings at the Skyline Club in Southfield. The committee works with the Executive Director to confirm the speaker and their needs for the presentation.

Golf Outing Committee

The Golf Outing Committee is responsible for organizing and administering the Annual IREM Michigan Chapter Golf Outing.

Trade Show Committee

The Trade Show Committee is responsible for organizing and promoting the Annual Trade Show.
