B.S. in Engineering Management from the University of Virginia (1971)
A Vietnam veteran of the US Army Reserve (334th General Hospital & 1st Cavalry Division) 1969-74.
Saul has an extensive background in business and telecommunication company operations and telecom system hardware through positions with AT&T and Bell Labs. In 1978, he moved to Columbus Ohio and formed Ohio Mobile Telephone, Inc., providing paging and mobile telephone services throughout the State of Ohio.
In 1997, he started ”The Inspection Group, Inc.” and became one of the first HUD/REAC Inspectors after working for HUD for a couple of months, personally performing over 1000 REAC property inspections through-out the U.S.; including the public housing agencies of New York City, Chicago & Los Angeles.
Saul is also a FEMA Disaster Relief inspector, Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) and serves on the Board of Directors of the National Public Housing Museum, Illinois NAHRO, MAHMA and other affordable housing organizations.
